The Funky Alien-workshop took place at the 27th march 2010 in Rodgau/Germany.

The “Funky Alien” is an extraordinary kite designed by Normand Girard from Quebec. Normand was very friendly and allowed us to build his wonderful kite at our workshop. Normand himself led a workshop about the “Funky Alien” one week earlier at the Kitemakers Conference in Fort Worden, USA.

The participants of the workshop made the kite during the event. The workshop provided all materials needed for the “Funky Alien”. Before the workshop, each participant got a template of the kite, to design his application, and to allow him to prepare it.
